Disney’s Sequoia Lodge is a popular 3* Disney Hotel. The property is a 10 minute walk to the parks and offers a free shuttle service although in my opinion by the time you wait for the shuttle and drive round you could already be at the parks if you walked. This property has a Great American Outdoors feel as the property is surrounded treetops.
Disney’s Sequoia Lodge has a total of 1011 rooms including 14 suites, 1 main building with 750 rooms and 5 lodges with 261 rooms. Some of the rooms offer a Lakeside view (at an extra charge). Eating at the Sequoia could not be easier with 2 restaurants: Hunters Grill- 360 seat Buffet restaurant and the Beaver Creek Tavern- 340seat table restaurant.
Other than the restaurants the hotel offers a bar and lounge area with a nice big open fireplace. For the children the hotel offers an indoor and outdoor pool with a waterslide aswell as Childrens corners and a arcade.
More for the adults is the Whirlpool, Sauna, fitness room and Solarium.
Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch 2* is a very popular Disney property as this is a self-drive accommodation. It offers a tranquil Disney stay as you have your own private wooden bungalow.
The property has 595 cabins in total with 3 different types of cabins: First of all you have the standard 2 bedroomed cabins, 1 rooms with a double bed 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed then a pull out sofa bed in the lounge. With picnic table and barbecue area.
Then you have the premier 2 bedroomed cabin, first room has 1 double and the second rooms has 4 single beds. Also has air conditioning and a decking area with barbecue.
Then we have the premier plus cabins with the double room and the 4 single beds in the second room. This also has air con and the barbecue decking area but it is located close to the properties facilities and get a tea and coffee welcome kit aswell as internet connection.
This property does not offer a shuttle service to the parks so you must take your own car to stay here. You get free parking next to your bungalow and free parking at the parks. The property also has a swimming pool onsite as well as other fun activities for the children e.g tennis courts slides in the pool, small farm and pony rides on certain days.
What more could you ask for? Food…ok yes there is a restaurant onsite and also a grocery store as all cabins come with a kitchenette.

Have you been itching to visit Disney but have no knowledge of the hotels?
Well these next couple of days I will be giving descriptions on each of the Disney hotels, starting today with Disney’s 2* Santa Fe.
This property is located 15-20 minutes away from the gates of Disney and offers a free shuttle transfer. The Hotel has a Old American South West (Mexican) Theme. The property boasts 1000 pueblo themed rooms including standard rooms, El Dorada Rooms (close to reception, shops and bars) and the rooms along the Rio Grande. All rooms have 2 double beds, television with Disney Channels, Ceiling fan and telephone.
You won’t go hungry at the Santa Fe either with the 700 seat ‘La Cantina’ offering an all you can eat buffet. After you’ve filled your tummies you can find the Rio Grande bar is open until late offering live music and karaoke on certain days.
For the children the hotel has a indoor childrens corner and a outdoor play area.

Disneyland Paris has confirmed an extra firework show will take place this Saturday 14th July to celebrate Bastille Day, more commonly known as le quatorze juillet in France.
With this French National Day falling on a Saturday Disney will expect extra large crowds this weekend. The firework bonanza will take place after the usual ‘Disney Dream’s Parade’ this starts at 11 and lasts for 20-25 mins so the Bastille firework display won’t be showing until at least 11:30pm due to the late sunset.

Pictures have been leaked on the web of the giant crane on the Toon Studio construction site. This can only mean one thing Disneyland Paris will have a new attraction. It has been rumored the new attraction wll be named Ratatouille: Kitchen Calamity and will be ready to open in 2014. Also plans are to have a new restaurant right next to it
It has the name ‘dark ride’ as it will be some sort of train going through an enclosed space watching things, similar to Its a Small World and The Haunted Mansion.
Has anyone heared anything else about the new attraction?
